Guys,Is there someone out there that would paint these engines for me. It took me 5 days to do the jumbo tank car and I've tried for a couple days on the sd45x. There are no texture maps and they were created using TSM. I'd be glad to upload the files to you.If you want to see them go "Any Takers" thread in Locomotive Design. Thanks,
I am not sure if I could do it if they are not texture mapped but I will try , My address is smp1151@sbcglobal.netSouthern Pacific will live on forever in the hearts of the Red and Gray Railfans Shane Palus smp1151@sbcglobal.net
You can create the texture maps for each part from within TSM. Then assemble the created .bmp files in PSP or Photoshop into proper templates for painting. Without those texture maps you cannot skin the model. I take it that the SD45X is the two centre locos. To get that far means that there is some form of texture map there already. To any one taking these on, you must have TSM so that you can generate the basic templates. I would like to do it but I have a full order book at present.mervyn@madasafish.com
Thank you, now I know what is what. I merely based my observation on the fact that there are supposed to be no texture maps for the '35s.mervyn@madasafish.com
They sort of are. TGA Tools and some spare time. I keep hearing that it's impossible to repaint with out the basic texture maps, so thats what I'm creating. Then I hope someone will do it right.
