The grey is off, way to light. And what is the light on the front? Question, what are you using to skin them? MSpaint?Kevin Arceneaux

The light on the front is a step light.
Its on most locos in real life. to guide the crew in the dark.

RE: NAFTA Railway/TFM AC4400CW's......

Well, since I've worked on these things a few times, I'm going to spill my guts. The gray looks like a poorly faded unit. I'd suggest darkening up the paint a bit. The "TFM" on the side of the unit looks just a bit out of proportion. Oh, the ditchlights are mounted on the anti-climber, not the plow, and the numberboards are located up on the top of the cab. Will these include the Self-Steering trucks that make these units stand out compared to other ACs? Other than that it looks ok.Austin

Thanks for the critisim guys. I like it, as long as you dont go "that model is the biggest load of crock i have seen in my life!" sorta thing. Thanks for spotting that out Kevin, they are being fixed as i post Yes, i am using MS paint, i am getting Photoshop soon though. Austin, I am going to fix the TFM now also, make it a bit smaller. The NAFTA Loco, i should be able to copy the textures onto a UP AC4400CW. The number boards will be in the correct location then. I have not seen a model for MSTS with S/S trucks. But i can change these locos with a pic i have got Thanks alot for the critisim guys! All the suggestions have been taken into account and i will fix them up.>Mike Forster<

>have got Mike,NALW's UP model won't work for KCS #2000, as NALW's model has low-mounted numberboards and pilot-mounted ditchlights, and the KCS units have cab-mounted numberboards and anti-climber-mounted ditchlights. As far as the steerable trucks, check out my CSX CW44AC's. Some of them have steerable truck textures that you are welcome to use if you'd like. And also, check out the TFM unit in my post below. You might want to round off the inside corners on the "M" in TFM like on the real units. Just a suggestion.Chris Denbow - Baltimore, MD

Thanks a lot for pointing out the ditch lights I will keep the KCS/NAFTA loco with pilot ditch lights, its the best we can do for now Also, thanks a lot for the S/S Trucks. It saved me a lot of time! With the number boards, I had a look at Kyle Fawson's UP AC4400CW's and i have come up with a way to remove the cab number boards and have high mounted ones Thanks again for your help, it is appreciated! I will post a shot of KCS 2000 when i get home tonight from school.>Mike Forster<

AFAIK, there isn't a suitable model of the AC4400 for KCS units, with the cab-mounted numberboards and correct ditchlight placement. The closest is NALW's Dash 9-40CW, but the Dash 9 and AC4400 are a little different is design.Chris Denbow - Baltimore, MD

Well, after some adjustments, here is the latest shot of 2000.The number boards have been moved, the yellow strip around the loco fixed, the paint darker, Self-Steering trucks (Courtesy of John Denbow) . The ditch lights how ever cannot be moved. I guess I'll just have to live with it - lolWhat do you think? I still have to Alpha out the number boards where the 2 grey blocks are from the original number was.:EDIT: Spelling>Mike Forster<
