Aug-10-01, 03:50 AM (EST) 2. "RE: anyone else have trouble swith dklemm's IC locos" crayphishMaybe this will help. I build the download loco's in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games folder. This were I keep copies of default stuff, cab view, sound, etc. in folders to "build" the loco folders. I unzip the downloads there. On David Klemm's Icsd40 engine, I unzipped the download, then made a new folder and named it Icsd40. Then I moved the unzipped files to this folder and copied the default gp38 sound and cab view folders to this folder. Also I copied the default sd40 us2bnsfsd40.s file to this folder and renamed it Icsd40.s. Also copied the default sd40.ace file to this folder and left the name as it is.Then I cut and pasted the completed Icsd40 folder into the trainset folder. Then I went to the consist editer where I found it listed and made a consist and put it into play.I found the Icsd40 readme to be confusing and complicated. So I built the engine folder my usual way and had no problems with it.Hope this helps Chuck Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Aug-11-01, 01:27 PM (EST) 4. "RE: anyone else have trouble swith dklemm's IC locos" Hey Crayphish;Been gone for four days camping with my youngest sons Webelos Den. Sorry you had problems, have you figured them out? I'm recuparating right now as the first two days the air temp was 99 and with the humidity it was 115, with very little wind. At night it got done to 85! Lousy weather! Never drank so much water and sweated so much in my life.I'm not a technical writer so I apoligize to anyone I've confused in my downloads. Please email me and I'll glady help and learn how to write less confusingly. Since I model the IC and am doing the IC route, I don't keep the default paint schemes I download, I replace them with IC repaints and so don't need to change a lot of names to make things work.Again, sorry for any confusion, help me to help turn out better downloads by giving me feedback.David Klemm
