Aug-08-01, 05:17 PM (EST) "EL Capitan reskins complete" Have some bugs to work out, but the reskinning is complete. Windows are finished. Have major problems with the Lounge car, hope to work them out. Also have transparency problems. I would post some pics but I don't know how. Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Aug-08-01, 10:22 PM (EST) 2. "RE: EL Capitan reskins complete" The "Top of the Cap" Lounge is to put it mildly a total loss, because of the method used in skinning. I need to be able to modify each side of that car individually to make it look correct, I may post a modified version with heavy use of artistic license. Coach and diner are looking good though, just little problems with the windows showing throught even though I covered them up. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: EL Capitan reskins complete" LAST EDITED ON Aug-10-01 AT 08:19 PM (EST)http://www.atmos.ucla.edu/~cwhung/santa-el.htmlhttp://my.ohio.voyager.net/~combs/arr/fp/McKinley-Explorer.htmlYou guys might like these sites. Westours is operating what I think were the El Capitan cars. Would be NEAT to have these cars in Westours livery as well.Eric Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Aug-13-01, 01:46 PM (EST) 4. "RE: EL Capitan reskins complete" Yeah, that's the same problem i had with the Transition Sleeper. I do NOT like MS texture mapping. Do the other cars first, then come back to the lounge. As the car is a relatively simple model to do (ie no underframe details needed as all the equipment is housed inside the car) i may be able to give you an accurate, easily textured body to work with. I can't make any promises as i am very busy with other projects (and of course, work), but i would like to help you! Of course, i would have to re-skin your re-skin into an Amtrak Pacific Parlor Car !------ BUZZ Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
