I would like to gray-out the CSX but not having any luck with keeping the background details intact. I attempted to reduce the opacity levels but to no avail - would like it to look like the picture attachment of ex-CSX 7082. I would appreciate any and all help. I'm sure it simple, just not sure how. I have attached what I got which is not what I want. Many thanks!!.Michael

Simple... Select the offgray (body) color as foreground, old "csx" logo color as backgound and go over it with the replacer brush. If it's aliased, you might have to select a different backgound color a few times. It will leave the details intact, since they are s different color than the logo. You might have to adjust the tolerance setting on the replacer brushe's tool palette. To get the slightly off color gray for the paint patch, create a new raster layer, set it's properties to 20% to 30% opacity and paint a "patch box" with a different blue-gray color... it should also leave the details resonably intact. Merge visible layers and save... done.

I would remove the CSX logo, spray it with light blue paint, then restore the details.mrWM734current project: B&O R.R. "Atlantic"

RE: PSP 7 Paint Question

...or you can select a door panel that has no text on it,then "duplicate" the layer, and move it into place over the area you want to replace. You'll have to be carefull to match up the door panel hinges and other details.
