Updated skin for Independence Day: SCL 1776!

Updated skin for Independence Day: SCL 1776! – image 1

Well, it always happens: I'm a day late and dollar short! I had planned to release this "new" skin/model yesterday but I got bit by the corrupted "ffeditc_unicode.exe" bug. Anyway, finally got it fixed and got this puppy finished and uploaded today.At the recommendation of the great folks over the SCL A-Line (http://www.scl-aline.com), I updated the Seaboard Coastline U36B 1776 model with some new goodies:
1. new modeled details (MU Cable, hoses, etc)
2. more detailed textures (plus a fix the red stripe on the rear hood)
3. better poly-smoothing on the nose
4. specular lighting

John don't you think it's time for some more EMD stuff.Too much of this GE stuff is bad for the industry.Jason I had to put that in there.BTW a U30C with the oscillating lights in the nose would be nice.May an SCL GP40 or two.

Haha! Funny you mention that, Claude! I never really considered myself a diehard GE fan, just happened to be the first MSTS model I made was a GE! I would love to do a stable of geeps such as GP38/GP40 etc. Got one more GE I want to finish (the U18B) before I move on to some EMDs. Thanks for the compliments, guys!
