it keeps locking up when I send the file to paint and I loose the Alpha on every paint I do how can I fix it so I dont loose the Alpha or how can I get TGAtool2 not to lock up.
I did this repaint of the Mikado tender for use with my next project of a UP 4-6-2 Locomotive wich uses the same tender.
I have no expireance on how to make a Alpha and with TGAtool2 having problems I am at a loss but to destory the looks on my repaints and I dont like itDon Pottorff

RE: Troubles with TGAtool2

Hey Don, just zip up your BMP or TGA and email it to me with instructions on what you want alpha'ed and I'll fix it up for ya--or you can disregard my offer--what ever you want to do. Jim

RE: Troubles with TGAtool2

Thanks that would be great however you didnt leave an email address
the walk across grates on this Tender were alpha'd but there not as you can see now thanks for the help.
I will send them as TGA files would be the best as they are the finished product.
I need to rework the Trucks on this file as they dont look the best then I will send them to you

RE: Troubles with TGAtool2

Sorry bout that done. I have a question before you send anything--Being as I don't have any steam engines other than the default steam engines--can I set a tender in an activity as a loose car?? without an engine hooked up to it?? If not, them I probably can't load it up to check it out when I make adjustments to the alpha. Anyway, If you want me to still try anyway, you can send it to trainsimguru@flash.net Jim

RE: Troubles with TGAtool2

I have used differant tenders with locomotives that they didnt come with I think so cause when you make a consist you have to choose the Tender as a seperate part of the Consist and there listed under Freight CarsDon Pottorff
