C'mon guys!
The other parts I need to know are:
- Underside of Number Boards (Underneath the bit that sticks out)
- Side of Ditch light globes
- The horn (and how to move it)AdamMapping parts on TA's SD40-2 – image 5 Mapping parts on TA's SD40-2 – image 6

You might try marking the unknown areas with numbers.
Then have a look at the loco or whatever in the game.
Sometimes the numbers come up in unexpected places.

It also helps if the numbers are done in different colours.Jonathan Nikiforovs.

Adam, I'm at work, but I'll try to help out as I can after looking at the map you're talking about posted in another thread in this forum. First off, the horn can't be moved/removed without some sort of 3D modelling program. There is a tag-line in the .s file (I think it is FreightAnim or something) where parts can be added and removed, but you still have to have the 3D program to make a new horn in order to use that tag-line.
Second, I believe the area around the numberboard is mostly influenced by the alpha channel. You may have to enlarge or move the alpha channel section that is related to the numberboard or shrink/move the numberboard itself in order to get changes near the edges of the numberboard to take effect.
Third, I believe the ditchlights are mapped to a small square in the mess right above the left side of where the front snowplow is mapped. I know the firecracker style antenna is mapped over there, along with the handrails and MU cables, but I can't remember if the sides of the ditchlights are as well. I found it by painting all the little squares different weird colors (bright blues, reds, greens and yellows) or some other strange color that would not normally be used in the scheme I was creating. That way they would show up in the sim really well and I would know which area was mapped to what. Then I would just use the "undo" feature of my editor (or revert to another saved copy of the image file) to get the ones that didn't need coloring or alphaing back to normal. I hope this helps!
