Hello all,Since I am a Milwaukee Road fan, I couldn't resist modifying Bill Hemb's fantastic work. I have managed to modify his BLE F-7 skins to what I think is a pretty convincing version of Milwaukee's freight scheme of the late 60's and 1970's. I have asked Bill if it would be okay to upload these but haven't heard back from him. Anyone interested? I would of course, make sure to gave credit to Bill and anyone who may have helped him with the textures, if he says it's okay.Let me know what you all think. John

Those shots remind me of the shots in the color book...THE MILWAUKEE ROAD published a few years back. SIGH....even though the Rockford trains had them, and they haunted Davis Jct. IL constantly in the 70's......I missed them!!! I did see some in Savanna,IL at one time as a kid, but as with most young railfans without railfan parents...stopping to see was a once-in-a-blue-moon thing at best. I didn't speak to my dad for three days once because he drove AWAY from a crossing with a train approaching!! (Yep, MILWAUKEE as well, at Kirkland, IL as a matter of fact)I guess what the memories are saying is....GREAT job!!!! Thanks much!Kelley D. Ellison

Yeah, that is a great book. I love the shots of the F unit lashups in Iowa. The Milwaukee used to put eight or more of these units together for one freight because they were so neglected at the time, that their reliability was shot completely. I would love to have the time/patience to make a route of an old, overgrown Milwaukee branch line to run these on.John

Thanks Bill! I will e-mail you the .wag file tonight.I "borrowed" the lighting from Ken Martello's Milwaukee Road F-7 he did a while back in Orange, Black and Maroon. In fact, I think Kelley did the work for that if my memory serves me right. Is that correct? Anyways, I will give credit where it is due and try to upload tonight! This is my first repaint, and I have never uploaded so I hopefully will get is right.Thanks for the input!John
