I'm seeing lots of nice heavyweight car sets in the Files section lately, and I keep hoping I'll see some painted in Canadian Pacific livery. I tried to do it myself, but I'm not very good at it and have too many other things to worry about right now.Any of you amazing texture people up to the challenge?
Be patient, I'm working on a set of CP Heavies. So far the models are complete, just need to finish the texturing. These are new models to boot. You'll get the original heavyweight, the later rebuilt heavies that did not have the clerestory roof, and the "U" Class fluted SS heavies that were for tourist service on the Canadian. The coaches are done, just need to run up the baggage/sleeper/diner versions. Also some business cars to boot.. Should be a week or so, and I'll let them loose.. Cheers HAC
Cool. Would like to be able to hang the Assiniboine on the rear of 198 like I had a while back.Gotta be a bit more careful with the slack than usual when you got riders on the rear. I gotta say CP's business cars are simply beautiful. That wine red color is sweet.Looking forward to them HAC.Todd
Hi Todd. Assiniboine wasn't in my original list (Shaugnessy, Killarney, Mt.Stephen, Mt.Royal, Lacombe, N.R. Crump), but I'll add it in.. Yeah, you gotta be careful not to "rattle the cattle" when hauling brass...<G> Cheers HAC
Thanks HAC. Assiniboine seems to be the usual visitor to the US. I've seen it down here a few times. However, I don't recall if it was the tail car on the XMas train this year. Was the year before.Looking forward to them. Best, Todd
