well, it is nice to have several numbers i think. but again everyone is different. I am reskinning EL eguipment right now, and making darn near their entire roster. But this is for me and for a route i have been working on which is Greenville to Polk based in the 60-70's for the Erie Lackawanna. As far as other routes i don't think more than 2 or so numbers are needed per engine. but again this is just me.April 1st, 1976. Worst april fools joke ever.

When I was growing up, it was routine to see as many as five engines running together on many mainline freights, especially in the heydays of the GP and SD-7 - 20's, so I would say a good number is five.

I'd like to see as many as would be in the largest consist that would normally be made up. I find it nice, if I'm using a 3,4,5 engine motive unit, to have individual numbers for each unit. Nor reason, just nice.Brad Meyer
