I have managed to do it myself without help
I am not sure but anyone looking for these Canadian Cars?
I guess not but they are here now (hopefully) I hust uploaded them here.These cars are Early Canadian National (pre VIA) before they became blue ones and before they became Via Rail.Not many Images of these cars around on the web been looking for a while now.

well I have been messing around with the repaints for a while now making buildings that don't glow in the dark actually look like they belong in the dark.Yes they are Gaétan Bélanger Via rail carsI have two more to come they Coach cars got a couple bugs to work out with them but they look as good as this one does.Era I am not sure they were around when I was a kid, Here in Chatham Ontario Canada that was about 34 years ago. that would make about 1967-1970Here is a Picture of the real Coach car

A suggestion,If you are able to do so, may I suggest adjusting the size of the windows. They seem to be quite large & square, where on the CN coaches are small & rectangular.I am not nitpicking, merely suggesting.Also, the Heavyweight coaches in the file library would be perfectly suited for that skin.Or the UP coaches would be a good choice as well as Malice stated.Good luck with the rest of the project.

Well It's kinda this way there is a few more details I have to work out but I did this on one picture and I will be getting more info on these cars as time progressesI now have in my posession a Book that has many pictures of these cars and I will be trying to make them as soon as I get my scanner up I am aware that the Windows are a little large and will be trying to correct them.ED

Hi ED,just got aware of the cars when they popped up in the library, nice work, and a very attractive skin. I'd have told yuo earlier if I noticed, as I have an explanation for the windows issue: Seems to me that you used some of my Alaska RR reskins of Gaetan's cars to do the set. In order to make Gaetan's car look more like the prototypical Alaska cars, I had to do a lot of modifications regarding the original layout of the windows, doors etc. Their cars are quite different from the VIA cars: Mainly because the Alaska RR cars are not Budd cars like the CN cars. Those with the large windows, for example, were built in South Korea in 1989. It was a couple days of work to re-do the windows (exterior and interior) until they resembled Alaska's layout as closely as possible, and still matched the passenger interior. So if you have to go all the way back to get to the original, it is a lot of work you burdened to yourself... You could find - if this is still some help for you at this late stage - repaints of Gaetan's set that are closer to the original and thus much better suited for repainting them into CN colors: try dowloading "ampass.zip", for example. Sorry once more for not realising this issue earlier, I could've safed you a lot of headaches, I guess Lukas a.k.a Swissie

Well I agree with CPR guy, haha keep skinning!!! Those cars are excellent looking - they only need my ALCo RS18 (in the tempo train livery) to be pulling them around haha!!! Hi RobThe door open is only for my coach ,
the door is open only when you enter in game and the
train is stop , just drive the train at the station
stop the train (apply brake for the train not move),
save game ,exit , enter in saved game
and check outsideBye

Is there anyone looking for the real old CN Cars I mean the Green Gold and black ones I made acouple of these just to see how it would come out can build more. I now have 8 cars made up and 2 of the green ones. The only thing I need the the Circle with the leaf inside it to make it look more like the real thing.still continueing on creating more as far as the book I have let's me.Here's a Pic of the Green ones and one that I did today

In about 2 seconds, i'm going to start begging for VIA Blue and Yellow repaints of those beautiful Coaches...as I recall, they ended up being VIA in the end anyway. The CN ones are beautiful. I love them.

I kinda thought so wasn't sure how dark it was and or the yellow stripes.
The Green one came out ok according to my brother who is a train fanatic and very well versed on CN stuff.Please if you could scan one or two of them it might help a bit.

Hey ,I was having issues with my PC not detecting my scanner last night so I couldn't get those coaches scanned in for you.If I dont get it working this evening, I will search for other methods.I actually have some "Accupaint" Via Rail blue from when I was re-doing a couple HO scale F units. I may just brush some onto a white peice of paper and scan that over.If I don't get my scanner working, I will use the one here at work.Either way I will get that VIA blue sample off to you within the next 24 hoursSorry about the delay !!LaterTim Kent

Ok so How's thisI got my scanner up and running last night and well I managed to scan a few photo's.I did repaint the car a little darker from a photo that I did and changed the yellow strips also.Oh by the way the yellow lines are a little higher that the B&W cars photo to showhere the Images

I have gone and done it againThere is 18 in the list Including one they only built three of.Things are going as fast as they can get one car at a time with many mods to each one, one at a time.As I have discovered one thing I seem to have to add it to the rest of them.But they are working out and comming along pretty good.With three skins now to choose from, not that it's difficult or anything, it makes them more and more.here's the Image of the different one.

BTW, I don't wanna be a dink, but for realism sake, VIA was also printed in yellow on those cars by the vestibule, and the 1st class coaches had some kind of name on them, in small white lettering about midway on the coach right underneath the windows as I recall...it said Club Something...the regular coaches just had a number in the same position...Sorry, about the pic..it's the best one I could find.They really DO look excellent.

Your probably right,But I am doinf a bit before thay came to be as we all know now.CN had all these coaches and diners sleepers, etc before the Canadian Government took over as VIA Rail.My stage is before all that took place.The four Images after all this text is as they follow before VIA1937 Green Gold and Black
1954 Grey and Black
1961 Experimental Blue and Grey Only three made
1981 CN Blue and yellow to match VIAThe dates might not be 100 percent correct but they fall in those catagories

Hah hah hah! You're never going to be able to release them, because people keep finding different variations for you to skin! I Love it! Heh heh....Another one...I think these are the same cars...I've seen ones that have a grey body and blue stripes where the yellow ones were...
