I have just finished renumbering The Keystone Works' Norfolk Southern repaint of NALW's Dash 9. I have made four separate units, nos. 9795, 8988, 9587, and 9511.(Nos. 9587 and 9511 actually don't have their complete numbers yet, and there is a good reason for that.)With the permission of the two Works, I plan to upload these soon along with my new cabhttp://www.train-sim.com/dcforum/DCForumID10/327.html. Mike, just curious, but are you planning on adding aliased engine files for the GE Sound pack with the re-numbered NS Loco's?I think alot of Simmers would like them avaliable to them.I'll be lookin' forward to these baby's...Thanks
Yes, I did get those horns. They sounded much better! Thank you. And yes, I am aliasing them to the NALW GE sounds. Well, I got to looking at them, and the pictures that I have of the real deal, and I thought...there's something missing. John Rosh did a great job skinning these, but he forgot...the grime! Two Dash 9s pull an empty coal train out of Trinidad (?!) with two more Dash 9 helpers bringing up the rear.I should have them uploaded by tomorrow. Mike Karlik www.trainsimstation.com
I didn't add the grime because when I saw the NS 9715 here in town, it was still pretty new and really wasn't dirty yet. Your renumbers look good, I don't have any problem with you uploading them if you want. Just give the proper credit and you should also email Chuck Schneider from NALW to get their OK as well. Thanks
