I have turned away from the FA S-class at the moment and am now working on a WCR S-class skin. This will appear as WCR S302. Please note that the picture below is taken during the development stage.Regards

Nice job. Keep up the good work.

RE: WCR S-class

Thanks. This is going to be very hard to finish as I have no suitable photo's for the sides. The rest will be fairly simple though.

BTW Matthew, I've now corrected the position of the anticlimb. It should line up better with the WCR livery. You may also like to wait until I release the modern S without the valence. That will be later this week or early next week. --Victorian Railfan Web Site:

RE: WCR S-class

Finally, I now have completed the sides and the loco is now looking more like a WCR S-class. This will be released (with James' approval of course) as S302. For those who would like S300 will have to wait a few weeks. Regards

RE: WCR S-class

You're right, it looks a heap better now. Heres what I was working on prior to me overriding the textures (I've learnt now, I'm starting again and I made a backup!). Mike

RE: WCR S-class

That's looking really good there Mike. I had the same trouble when I went to convert the images to ace. files. I accually used Microsoft paint to create the textures. But there are some really good re-skins of James' S-class starting to appear. So far I have seen Yuri's S303 in FA colours (which I planned to do after the WCR S), a GM in CR livery and now your ASR GM.Today I thought I would put S302 through her paces on a special train of WCR BS cars. Show below is S302 "hard at it" on the Settle line.Regards

RE: WCR S-class

LAST EDITED ON Dec-30-02 AT 07:51 AM (EST)

Here's the latest on the GM. I've done the basic textures, but I still have to do the fine details. I'm currently in the process of converting the model. As you can see it now has the correct nose mounted Leslie Supertyphoon horns. I've also modified the bogies, removed the staff exchanger, removed the hostlers end cab and modified the back to represent the GM. However, there are still many other things that need to be done! There are many differences between the GM and the S class. --Victorian Railfan Web Site:

RE: WCR S-class

S307 and S317 were the only V/Line S class locos with nose mounted horns. I'll probably go back and do one of these locos in the future since it is a fairly easy conversion. --Victorian Railfan Web Site:

RE: WCR S-class

I will have to wait until you release the S-class with the nose mounted horns in order to do S317 in GNR colours. But that GM of yours is looking really good. The Aussie market of loco's and rollingstock for MSTS is well catered for these days. Regards

RE: WCR S-class

So far little progression has been made on the WCR S-class. I hope to have it ready in the next couple of weeks. The next loco I plan to re-skin is B80 in the Murraylander colours.Regards
