I have tried converting a repaint I made of Dekosoft's 86ft XP car into an .ace file using TGA Tool 2, but the program refuses to convert it. I click on export, choose the file name and it appears that it is converting it, but I go to look for the file and it is no where to be found. I have tried converting a regular 512x512 file and it works fine, so it will convert and I am pretty certain the problem has to do with the file being 1024x1024. I have tried converting this file in both bmp and tga formates btw. Any help is appreciated!

Kyle, Have you got the MSTS tools update? included is a version of makeace that can deal with the 1024 big files, I had a similar problem when I first started my reskin's.
You can only use bitmap mode to process 1024x1024 file.Tips: If you want to do DXT compress. Use TView do that. The result quality is more high than MakeAceWin. It also support batch compress. But it only support 512x512 DXT compress (I don't know makeace support how much on DXT1 compress) You can get ThumbView from here and the Latest mwgfx.dll http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk/
Thanks for all the help everyone, took Mike's advice and it worked fine. Tried to get the tools update, but while installing a .dll file error occured. The three repaints have been uploaded to the file library and should ready for d/l tommorow.
