RE: john roth

Sorry Mike, you've got the wrong John - but I like your idea. Perhaps John Rosh, Joe Hance, or one of their colleagues at The Keystone Works would be interested...My method of repainting would be to take a magic marker to an image on the monitor!

RE: john roth

Claude350,
Yes, I can just see John Rosh "terrorizing" (in a very commendable way) the state of Georgia as I post this! Double thumbs up to John, a fine guy. He will become a very valuable asset to NS. gt4606,
Hehe, no, I'm not related to David Lee. He's rich and famous!
As a kid, I wondered if I was related to Ed "Big Daddy" Roth, the custom car creator. I guess I wasn't; he never called to offer me one of his creations.Joe Hance and Enocell,
By all means, do so! Gixxer86,
Mario forgot his roots. When I saw him as an upstart, he learned how to race stock cars at the Nazareth 1/2 mile dirt in the mid-1960s. He wiped the field at Island Garden LI in a TQ (long defunct) which put him on the map and then he conquered Freeport, Hatfield, Allentown, Flemington, Reading, etc (shoot, they're all defunct too) which put him in the bullseye for good rides. Won the Daytona 500 in 1967.
Currently:
I'm tired of his candy-ass whining - this is NOT the Mario I knew when he was struggling and learning to be a winner. I'm a huge fan of AJ Foyt. Kick arse, lights out, and take names. And Tony Stewart - this guy is this decade's AJ. A Totally Focused Racer. Tony and AJ: "Stop the bs, fark the media, let's Race!" I see Tony kicked everyone's butt at Irwindale and Las Vegas in a midget and sprint last week or two after winning the Winston Cup in a taxi cab. -
Tony Stewart is a RACER. John RothJohn roth – image 8

Yeah,John I agree.Mario WAS awesome.I just really like that quote.I don't watch Winston Cup anymore.I used to be a die hard fan.The deaths of Adam Petty and then Dale Earnhardt were the last straw.I'm a fan of the good old days.Richard Petty,Cale Yarborough,Harry Gant, the Pearsons, and of course AJ Foyt are who I like. They raced REAL cars, not CAD-CAM wonders that have headlamps painted on and restrictor plates and going only 55 in pit row.I like Tony Stewart way more than Jeffy "fruitcake" Gordon, but the real racing is in Busch and truck series.Actually I'm much more of a fan of motorcycle racing than anything else. Now let me see if I can kick this flu!

RE: john roth

Gixxer, I totally agree. I guess that's why I still favor sprints or midgets on 1/2-mile dirt ovals.Claude, I was unaware you're a NS employee. I trust you'll teach John well! John RothJohn roth – image 9
