Here is the latest Conrail SD40-2 out of the TKW shop. And an improved cab as well. I used the 640x480 cabview in the other three CR SD40-2s I did. This time I used the 1024x768 cabview for better quality.

RE: More CONRAIL!!!!!

I don't care for Conrail too much, but those things (all of them) sure are beautiful. Nice work! I'd be interested in seeing how the specular (sp?) lighting will work with a dirty ole -2. Hey, talk Chris into doing one of the new SD40-2s in CSX colors, will ya?!?

Nice work, John!
A dirty Conrail blue unit would be welcome.Pete, I thought the 'original' was the rusty one. You know, that rust-orange-colored one with the BNSF logo?

I'm all for a rusty dirty version as well. BUT, I'm gonna finish these two Quality units and do a couple NS versions first. My weathering skills are less than spectacular but I can give it a try...Glad you all like them...

RE: More CONRAIL!!!!!

Nothing wrong with a little rust, dust and grime. John's wonderful repaint along with the great original textures for this loco inspired me to try my hand at one also. It's moderately weathered, not as bad as some of the prototypes I saw pics of, but definitely broken in .More Conrail! – image 14More Conrail! – image 15Many thanks to John for helping me figure out some makeace problems, it's been too long since I used these tools.Cliff
