Hello everyone a few months ago i bought the big boy for my HO scale model train set and the big boy i bought had the a black smoke stack and black fire box so i reskined msts big boy to match and i gave the big boy a more restored look. hope everyone likes. pj
I can remember once, going across Kansas where the highways always seemed to follow close to the tracks, when I was a wee one in the back of an old Hudson with Dad's foot to the floor and hearing this 'awful racket coming up'. After watching it bellowing (for lack of a better word) by us, I thought that had to be the most beautiful creation mankind had ever come up with.Seems to have looked just like the one you have here.I'll take one
Unfortunetley the all-black Rivarossi model is incorrect. None of the UP Big Boys had black smokeboxes or fireboxes. I'm not knocking your reskin, just letting you know the HO model isn't accurate.Joe Shalbotnik.
repaint the nose the color it was and I'd like it. same whith the firebox cuz I don't think it looks right black instead of the silver color it is. I love it a lot and not kickin u in the nuts for paintin it like that I'd get it that way if I didn't have the original. great work!
