Hi, Has anyone looked at moving the doors UP on the end of the Superliner cars to make them look more like the real ones? It would be nice to see the door up on the top level of the car where it belongs. Just curious. Thanks!
You must be looking at a different design...Amtrak California and the "Surfliner" have two doors on the bottom that are like subway doors that open automatically. The Long-Haul Superliners I've seen a single door on the bottom in the center. Plus, K-Line (a popular O-scale model railroad manufacturer) has brand new Superliner cars that are modeled with single doors on the bottom.Do you have a picture of a Superliner car that has doors on the top level?------------------------------------------------------------I'll never let go of the railroad that inspired me to involved with trains, the Union Pacific!

Hi, Check out the picture from the website: These are the Superliner cars that I am talking about. I would like to see the end of the cars in the Train Sim look like this photo. Thanks!
OOOOH You're talking about the END of the cars!My mistake, ALL Superliners have this door on the top deck! Except like the other person said, the Transition Sleeper.------------------------------------------------------------I'll never let go of the railroad that inspired me to involved with trains, the Union Pacific!

All Amtrak Superliners have the doors at the top, except for the "Transition Sleeper" which is a Crew sleeper with a set of stairs inside down to a door at the bottom for access to the baggage car.
The reason the diaphrams have yet to be fixed is because the basic shape/scale of the default Superliners leaves something to be desired. Ergo, an entirely new Superliner 3D model was/is in the works by someone. Don't quote me but it seems like Buzz had it in his pipeline. Either way until a more accurate representation comes out I'm afraid we're stuck with Kuju Supes.
