Hey, no problem Kelley, I needed to learn it myself anyway.....and I see where you are learning to reskin.......good luck........lol.....Ever need any help just give me a shout...... And thanks for offering to help me, it is much appreciated....... Tim The Spur Line http://tahunter.net/thespurline Appalachia RR
You are welcome guys.......no problem.......Any more ideas, Keith, let me know....Right now am redoing my entire game....moved it from C drive to a partition all its own and took me six hours to go through all of the MSTS downloads on two disks to set them up in the new game folder......and am still not done.......Didn't realize I had so much stuff for it........The most time consuming thing is aliasing cabviews and sound......Just will never understand why people upload reskins without some kind of cabview and sounds aliased already.....They should at least alias the GP38 or Dash9 and then if people want something else then they can do it themselves, like I do...If I was a newbie or didn't know much about how to do that, I would be kind of lost and upset that I couldn't use the reskin just by putting it in the trainset folder and creating a new consist for it........Oh well.........Probably take me the rest of today to get it set up right......if I am lucky........Thanks again for the kind words.......Tim The Spur Line http://tahunter.net/thespurline Appalachia RR
Tim, I was thinking somewhere along the lines of a KCS or a CSX (YN3?) AC4400. Or maybe a Oakway SD60. If not no skin of my back i feel bad even asking. But like i said before trying to reskin for me is like trying to get blood out of a rock:)Thank you for all you time and help. Keith
The skin looks great! As an ex-NYSW employee,I love this stuff! The fictional B-unit is great! If you would like to see the Susie-Q E-units in person check out www.877trainride.com.It's the NYSW Technical & Historical Society's website. There's a ride in Dunellen,NJ on Sept 7th and 8th.The town throws a "Railroad Days" celebration.I hope to be there and on other rides.
Thank you for that.....much appreciated.....although I didn't know much about the NYSW before Keith asked for a volunteer to do the model........but I am getting to like it and might like to do some more of them if I had some pics...........I will check out that site, thank you......and hope you have a nice time in NJ.......Tim The Spur Line http://tahunter.net/thespurline Appalachia RR
