model, I repainted it to run with the UP GP60 texture's, so that it will not stand out . Tell me if you like it so far.

Are you the guy who repainted (in UP) Justin Cornell's GP60 (No. 5862)? I LOVE driving that one, because of the textures!------------------------------------------------------------I'll never let go of the railroad that inspired me to involved with trains, the Union Pacific!SD40-2 UP – image 8

RE: SD40-2 UP

All right, I'll be sure to download that one. I could always use more Union Pacific motive power! Geeps (specifically GP60s I think) roll by Abilene hauling intermodal to the west!------------------------------------------------------------I'll never let go of the railroad that inspired me to involved with trains, the Union Pacific!SD40-2 UP – image 9

I love those textures on the SD40-2 do you think you can make it in the Wing Logo Version on the nose of the locomotive in those same textures?

Looks great, just one suggestion :PLEASE make the number on the cab the same font like the Lettering on the hood and please make the with a black frame around it...Me as an old UP fan (yeah, bite me) can't see 2 fonts in combination on a UP loco, my heart breaks... Keep up the great work !Jens-Chris

RE: SD40-2 UP

The font shown in the images is the typical gothic font. I don't know the rules about third party fonts on these models but there is a website that has railroad fonts. I purchased the "Cityof" UP style fonts for about $9 and they are sweet. I my imaging program I was able to easily add the narrow black outline. These fonts are often but not always used in the numberboards as well, although re-shopping results are mixed depending on whether the unit is shopped in house or contracted out.

RE: SD40-2 UP

Lookin good ! Have you considered repainting the dekosoft SD45T-2 UP "Tunnel Motor" (freeware); or the UP SD50 in the file library. Both have the wrong shade of yellow for UP, even for faded units ! Ron K of Rockford
