Here is the repaint of the T/A's E7 A&B in B&O National Lines livery.....I will ask TA how they want to handle this file before I upload it here so it will be a few days for a response I am sure......E7

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe B&O only used the single headlight type for their E and F units and not the double headlight as is shown on the model. At least that is what I have seen in some photographs and models of these engines in this paint scheme.Steve Burr

Your right but this model by TA only has the option for 2 headlights so I went with it.....LaterRick

Well these repaints are now in TA's hands and should be available on their Club TA by Monday or Tuesday.....it
was required to have the E7 model from TA to use these so
it made sense to put them with the model on their site...
It only requires a small donation to get at them so go do it.LaterRick

So Rick... Did they hire you? Definitely TA quality work! By far your nicest skins yet. I may be biased toward a certain western US road but, I am in no way bigoted. I always liked B&O's passenger scheme. Nice work, please, MORE!!!.Regards,

No I wasn't hired and I really don't want to be I am perfectly happy making stuff as I get the urge....I don't want to be an assigned duty type of modeler or repainter...Just enjoy what I do and hope everyone else does too....TA just has a good reason for the repaints being on their site....you have to get the E7 set from their contributions website so my repaint might as well be there too....and if we all remember TA has benn thus far a donation only operation except for the Great American set they just put out for sale...So I have no problem with my stuff being hosted there as long as it remains free to be downloaded by all who are interested in meeting their donation request....LaterRick

Rick,I've been looking for "New" engines that will compliment the Passenger cars you did(Excellent, by the way).I haven't always been a E7,F7 kinda guy,but seeing these screen shots has "Sparked" a new interest in me.I sure hope TA allows them to be downloaded at Train-sim?Excellent work Rick!

HEy, Looks great but we do have a way to make it a correct single headlight version. Cyrus has an Alpha channel for the lower light so that it can be removed completely by changing the alpha channel. I can also provide you with a modified lighting file for the single light. You can also change details like the type of horn and the grabirons using the alpha channel. Just ask Cyrus for any other details.

Here it is ....the prototypical E7 for the B&O National Livery..Thanks to Rob Easterday for the hint on the Alpha Channel fix...This now has corrected shadowing and grab iron colors , also corrected headlight placement and front number location to look more like the E6 done in April MR for these same units....Thanks again guys....Rick

Nice!!!! That's a very nice repaint!! Glad to be able to help out. Feel free to ask any of us when doing repaints of TA stuff and we're happy to send you anything we have. I almost always do multiple lighting files for different versions that are easy to copy and paste into engine files. Can't wait to run this and download you matching cars.

Hi Adam,No I am not a new TA member, but Cyrus at TA and I exchanged ideas about the downloads and it made sense to keep it on their site because folks have to get the contribution version of the E7 to use them anyway......I am just trying to give folks a few more paint schemes to work with on the TA units.....LaterRick
