May-02-02, 07:58 PM (EDT) "SD40-2 CSX YN3" I need someone who can accept a 2mb attatchment to try out this loco, before I upload it here. Because of a slight cab mod, I had to use the complete paths in the zip file. To unzip just point it to C:/ and make sure "Use Paths" is checked in Winzip. P.S It looks much better than the screenshot. KyleH

Got the "Beta" test OK. Downloaded just perfectly and operates just as well. Looks like you did some work on the engine dynamics. Operates pretty close to the real thing (from what I'm told). Just one suggestion, Get rid of the default "horn" and replace it with a CSX horn. csxp5.zip which can be found here at trainsim sounds pretty close to the real thing. I replaced alot of the default horn sounds with this one. The signal indicator works as you planned. This is a shot from the Seattle Route which I downloaded at Trainsim.

Wrong Cabsignals for CSX....

May-03-02, 09:30 AM (EDT) 7. "RE: SD40-2 CSX YN3" Yes, they are not prototypical. However, this what the actual signals look like down here on the Abbyville Sub.( No cab signals used ). Given MSTS's sight distance limitations, you need some kind of advanced notice. Henceforth, a cab display that shows you exactly what the next signal coming up is.
