May-01-02, 04:08 PM (EDT) "Seeking a bit of advice." Ok, I've been working dilligently on the CF7 that Ontario Northland uses. I say cf since they have cat engines and a really cool look to them. (no porthole on the front). Here's what I have so far (pics tonight after psych class):
A fully repainted F unit, unlettered, with semi photorealistic paint schemes.Problems: These are points I need advice on, as to how I should procede1. The trains didn't originally pull american style coaches. Rather they were modified TEE coaches. Repaint the 3d trains TEE coaches?
2. The colors are overly bright, and there seems to be nothing I can do to fix that.
3. The roof is a tri color, orange, blue, turquoise. In painting it, I inadvertantly painted over the black marks that made up the fan holes. It's not too noticable at times, so should I not worry about it?
4. I hoped to release the engines as a set, however, should I do the release seperately?
5. Does anyone at all want this thing? There doesn't seem to be anyone (canadians or otherwise) who even know about the railroad, much less care about the models. Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
