Now i'm no rocket scientist, but what gives? Cyrus from TA told me they corrected the problem, but I have to donate to get the new stuff. Any feedback would really help. Thanx

" I don't know anything about the way they are mapped, but it appears that it's not the length that is causing your problem, but the height. If you could make your text not quite as high, it will probably work.Cliff Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Apr-21-02, 04:33 PM (EST) 2. "RE: COULD SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME???" I've been doing alot of re-skinning lately, and I have found out that just a mere line being off will produce the outcome you had. If the text is just a line (or a row of pixels) too high or low, you can get some undesirable effects. For me it was trial and error and going back and forth in PS6 and TGA Tool and starting MSTS constantly to check my work was tedious, but necessary. Try a smaller font size. Sometimes (usually all the time) a smaller font will produce a larger "outcome" view. I have learned that actual painting sizes in your paint program is not necessarily the going to be the size on the finished product. I'm sure there is a trick to it...I just go by trial and error.
