"RE: SoRwy Engine Request" Now this is a really nice loco.I got a chance to crew this loco while working for the NS in Raleigh NC.The long hood is designated as the front and the control stand is located on the left hand side of the cab(right side as you're facing this unit). Apr-05-02, 07:27 AM (EST) 2. "RE: SoRwy Engine Request" Howdy,I too would love to have this unit. I thought about trying to paint her myself, but, what model should be used?I saw it listed as a GP59 on a couple Norfolk Southern rosters. Thanks,
Sam

I would be happy with any engine using the scheme.

Apr-05-02, 10:57 PM (EST) 4. "RE: SoRwy Engine Request" That's the correct model. The GP59 was used when this unit was painted in this scheme. We had this baby humming at 60mph on the H-Line in North Carolina.Rode real well too. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
