Mar-29-02, 12:43 PM (EST) 2. "RE: What do you guys (n girls) think?" Well, if you're not looking for "realism," or if this is a fictional loco it looks pretty good. However, if you ARE looking for realism, I'd offer these comments:
1) Your loco looks like a snoot SD40. CSX doesn't have any snoot SD40s, much less ones painted into MOW colors.
2) The "CSX" on the side of the longhood needs to be larger to match actual MOW units.
3) There is no black on the longhood sides of CSX MOW "pumpkin" units- -the units are totally orange (except the trucks/fuel tank, etc).Hope that helps.Clayton Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Mar-29-02, 02:08 PM (EST) 3. "RE: What do you guys (n girls) think?" Another realism point. Your orange isn't the right color for CSX MOW. Goto alabama railfan page he has pictures of MOW units.
CSX uses:
GE U18B
GE U23B
GE B23-7
EMD GP38
EMD GP40according to the alabama page.
