Mar-28-02, 07:36 AM (EST) "New 80 foot F38 (Type) Flatcar in PRR color scheme" Here is an approximation of a F38 PRR flatcar 80 feet long.
It has 3D trucks and 24 wheels in 12 sets...the ends of the car are two moving decks attached to the bogies and the brake handles sport PRR logos and not real numbering. Here's a couple of pics....there was so much detail that I ran into the UID:200000 error and had to go back into the model and merge some of the objects together instead of just grouping them. But now it's ready for prime time...bounding box done and couplers are about right....the only thing left to do is the lighting....when I finish that tomorrow I'll upload it.

This is just the ticket for you heavy-haulers out there.Enjoy!!Rick Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: New 80 foot F38 (Type) Flatcar in PRR color scheme" Hi All,One thing noticed about this car is that it will not take the 45degree yard curves at all so the car is restricted to 20d turns only it will go through regular switches ok though.LaterRick Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
