Mar-25-02, 05:32 AM (EST) "Winter skins" Don't know if this is the correct place to post but bear with me. Over the weekend I ran a B&O Light Mountain on WV&O out of Marietta at 21:00 when it came to the northern end of the platforms and out into the "Floodlit" yard as it crossed the "light pool" it stayed dark, obviously using its "Night skin". This got me thinking, what with Kicking Horse pass and all the Makesnow.bat's flying around is there any way that if you pick the season to be winter then the train (obviously as long as there is a skin for it) can run with its winter skin. I got the latest issue of Railfan & Railroad over the weekend and the article "This is how winter really is" made me wish for some real snowbound trains. Any one thoyught of doing some BNSF, CN, CP Rail etc with snow skins. oh and you could try and do some sno for the plow at the front as per the modern rotary snow plows that were around a few months ago.... Any ideas ? Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
