3Dsmax is on sale ,, a savings of $700.00 !! what a deal !!! Better start saving your lunch money .... Of course there is always those Warez sites where ya can download it with it full of bugs and viruses...now lets see,there is the file sharing option where ya may be lucky enough to find the origional program
that you can borrow from someone but after you download it you will find that the installer is not included so there is no way to get it to install....see you have lots of options ....best one is if you really need it BUY it ... its not free anywhere..unless Uncle Bob can swipe the disks from the office patm41

I should hope you're not using City Link if you're only 12. It's still 18 for a driver's licence in Vic <g,d,r>Seriously, it's still safer to use a CC over the Net than it is to hand it to a waiter in a restaurant (if you're phobic about those things).3DSMax is about US$2000 = AUD$4000. TSM is USD$40, 3DCanvasPro is about US$70.You can find 3DCanvas Pro for free at http://www.amabilis.com/. The download is over 18mb and is a full version; the catch....only the export to MSTS is disabled. Pay for the key to upgrade to the full version.RegardsYuri.

along with a good paint program... the only advantage with 3DSMax is that you can open the .s file to edit the shapes of an object.. (read the system requirements they are alot greater than the avarage user will have)

it does not import *.3ds format and you can not sell your work.I have TSM and it's a good program, but there may be a better one out there. Look into 3D Canvas. The LP version cost the same as TSM, imports 3ds and has no commercial restriction. You can download and try out 3D Canvas for free at amabilis.com, but you will not be able to export to MSTS. sure ain't free.Least cost so far for a quality product that imports and exports 3DS is 3D Canvas LP and it has no commercial restriction.I've found TSM easy to use and VERY easy to export to MSTS. I find 3DC to be easy to use (the MSTS export is a snap as well), but then again, i'm used to it. 3DC has the import advantage over TSM, but it also has the advantage that it's not just limited to MSTS export! So 3DC could be used for a wide range of things besides MSTS as well.------ BUZZ ------
