Feb-06-02, 10:54 PM (EST) "Download Problem" Anybody have any idea on why, after downloading the UP c30-7 (it comes up in Consist Editor), I keep getting the "Failed to create Cabview" error. I've added the cabview and sound from the GP-38 as per instructions. Thanks in advance. Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Feb-06-02, 11:21 PM (EST) 1. "RE: Download Problem" In the C30-7 .eng file, in Wordpad, go up to the top, click Edit, and go down to 'Find'. Search for "cvf", without the quotes. Rename as needed.-----------------------------------------------------

Feb-06-02, 11:31 PM (EST) 3. "RE: Download Problem" When Freddie Huff (the guy who created the UP C30-7) created the readme file, he incorrectly said copy the GP38 cabview. He has since issued an update in the forum. However, to get you going, you can do one of three thing.1.) Rename the file "GP38.cvf" to "C30-7.cvf" in the cabview folder for the UP C30-7 -- or --2.) If you have any of John Peterson's (AlabamaRailFan) other C30-7's installed, just copy the "C30-7.cvf" from that cabview folder to your UP C30-7 cabview folder. -- or --3.) Edit the three(3) ENG files for the engines and change the cabview file name.Number 1 is the easiest. I did number 2 since I had other C30-7's.Dudley Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
