As soon as you get it in the file library I'll take one, if not I'll take one anyway. Keep up the good work. Is the Rock Island your favorite? Maybe you can do a couple of cars for it. Also do you have any idea what happened to tgs.railfan.net? SEE-YA, CHUG-ON, ()

>kwk100 The SW1500 texture mapping doesn't allow for paint on the ends of the handrails of a different color. When I was developing the textures for the SW1000, I had Mark change the mapping to allow for white handrail ends on the SW1000.Ken Martello Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

LAST EDITED ON Feb-06-02 AT 07:56 PM (EST)Glad you like it!The Rock is by far my favorite railway!!That is a good question, I have no idea what happened to the site that I downloaded the trains from...Do you think the SW1000 resembles this locomotive more accurately? The prototype (see post 'Rock Island Locomotive') has hood mounted hand rails, as does the SW1000, maybe I should release the model using the shape file and skin files from Mark's SW1000 and use the engine file from the SW1500 in place of the current .eng file for the SW1000?Does anybody know how to make the couplers a rust color instead of silver? I found the section for the frame in the paint files and painted thte two ends brown, but this only turned half of the couplers brown? Thanks,
