Feb-05-02, 09:14 PM (EST) "New MakeAce" As part of the newly released Patch for Trainsimhttp://www.microsoft.com/games/trainsim/default.asp2 versions of MakeAce. Updated dos version and (finally) a Windows version.
Both support zlib compression for Ace files and also DXT compression for square textures.The Windows-Interface version should make it a lot easier to convert images to Ace format without having to mess around with dosTgaTool2 has been updated to utilise the extra features of the dos version when it is installedhttp://fly.to/mwgfx/

I've been using TGA tool as my import export to ace tool for quite a while.. Who needs an interface to makeace, when you've got TGAtool?? A nice feature is the preview of a TGA before export, I've messed up before when converting a batch with too-similar names..cheers
