Feb-03-02, 08:01 PM (EST) "The "B"s are coming!" Notice of Train Artisan's upcoming efforts have given me the motivation to find and finish these guys....

Many thanks to CLW and Verne Horton!

Verne was instrumental in giving me the information I needed to polish these units up (as well as the original D&RGW textures!)prior to uploading. I just sent both units up to the file library at train-sim and they should be available in the next few days.

You know you could make a big logo on the b-unit and you would have the steam generator on the zephyr. Just a thought. Why do you have a helper on the back of the train, or is the rear car on fire? >or is the rear car on fire? You know, I didn't notice that until I was driving the train in MSTS. I used the "headout" view to look back along the train as I entered the curve and saw smoke. "What the H*ll!" Was my first thought. When I shifted to the #3 view I found another PB tacked on behind the observation car.It has since been deleted, and the passengers really appreciate the improved view. Let me know if you have any problems with the .zip files. The library claims that they're not zip files if you try to look at them online. You're right, the "fan hole" has been plated over. I am REALLY hoping that the TA guys make this. I keep "suggesting" it in many different places so I hope somebody listens. If they don't make it then I am sure that someone in our community will.
here is some more info

The Ski train now uses the old steam generator. When the Ski Train was re-equipped, this car was rebuilt with two Caterpillar diesel generators to supply the 480 volts needed for train power. Joe Harris was the architect of this rebuild, and the car was renamed for him in 1994.
