Feb-03-02, 04:41 PM (EST) "Phase3 Superliner Update" An update to the Amtrak Phase 3 Superliner set has been uploaded today. Thanks to Chuck @ NALW, it includes an auto-installer AND fixes for the duplicate shape and wagon names. In other words, you will now be able to see ALL six cars in the consist editor. Many many thanks to Chuck and all the guys at NALW.Blake Harris

Feb-04-02, 00:06 AM (EST) 2. "RE: Phase3 Superliner Update" As far as I know, the Superliners were never painted in Phase 1. They were delivered in phase 2, which is the same thing just without the "pointless arrow" amtrak logo on each end of the car striping. I DO plan to make the Phase 2 Superliners sometime soon, and I'm sure F40s will soon start appearing in all the different liveries. However I'm gonna try to bribe the guys at NALW to do something similar to what was done to my first set. I wanna get it right the first time ya know. I'll post screenshots as soon as I get started.BTW, thanks for the nice comment. It really is appreciated.Blake Harris

Besides editing the file names I also fixed the physics/Friction values and I added the FRED lites too!

"RE: Phase3 Superliner Update" I did it, I can post the numbers here (you'll just have to put 'em into your .wag file), but the reason no one ever did an interion for it is because the design of interior itself (the way Kuju did it) will horrify you once you hit that "5" key. Though I never had a problem with a coach model itself, it's a pretty good looking model, not? espacially when repainted! They are one of the few models that are reasonably close to scale. What really needs to be fixed (besides the insides) is that the trucks are spaced way too close together, which throws the whole lower-level window arrangement off, and the diaphragms are supposed to be on the upper level (except the Transition car, that has one diaphragm on the upper level, one on the lower). I also insist on the diaphragms looking accurate, as it can be quite amazing how much of a difference that subtle change can make!
We are looking into doing a new model relatively soon.------ BUZZ ------

BUT they could be better!>>...when masters grab the tools, we know that...actually I was bothered more by metroliner coach, I never understood why nobody ever tried to put some chrome on it, not even speaking of redoing that thing. The Amfleet cars are my favorite single-level car Amtrak has ever owned, so you can rest assured that one will be done correctly!! May even throw in an Amfleet II while i'm at it ------ BUZZ ------
