Jan-27-02, 02:01 AM (EST) "A bit of a problem..." Hi.I'm having a bit of a problem when trying to repaint a boxcar as a practice to cehck I can do it properly. However, I'm in a bit of bother.
I'm using TGtool2 to repaint the coach, which works fine. I save it over the old .ace, and renamed the .s and .sd files, which I think is all you are supposed to do. Then I edited the .wag file and changed the name of the car.
However, when I open Activity Editor to put this into a consist for test-running, it tells me "error cannot read the .wag file", or at least along those lines (no pun intended . I've decided against repainting the Dash 9, and was going to paint the
Geep 38-2 into the plain blue Boston and Maine livery, and later may try the stars and stripes they had on a few of their locos.
Could you please help a newbie at resprays?Chris Jackson

All you need to do is replace the .ace file with your repainted .ace file..no need to mess with the .s or . sd file
if repainting is all your doing... well thats the way i been doing it anyway , but im just an amature painter....patm41
