The MILW went under before they could purchase Dash 7 locomotives, but they did have some U36Cs and this would have been the next step if they had survived.

I opted for the "Soo" C30-7...although there is a problem with the side of the cab,as the left side "mirrors" the right side.So i'm not able to duplicate the usaul white- curved stripe?Most of the NS c30-7's i've seen in different pics,most of them are "High-nose" versions,so i'm not re-skinning the NS version.Their is still some details left to finish...as you can tell.If nobody minds the SOO c30-7 not having the correct white-curved stripe,then i'll up-load it,what do you think?

Could one of you guys send me the logo set you use for you NS loco's? Also the hue, sat, and lum you use for the black. I had to reformat and I've lost everything. Attention John peterson!John,is their any way i can "fix" the cab sides from being "mirrored"?Also i edited the eng.sd.s,files ,but i get a error message.I can still run the loco.all the edited names in the files are soo-c30-7.s,soo-c30-7.sd,soo-c30-7.eng,and i changed the appropriate names in the sd&eng files.Any ideas? Just change the .eng file name only. I had the same problem, it works fine when I put the .s and .sd files back as original.

As far as the cab sides, in this version, they are both mapped to the same area. It would take redoing the texture files and the model to change that. I may do this if I do a version 2 of this loco.As for the naming stuff, you should be able to get by with only changing the .eng file. That is what I usually do for repaints. If that doesn't work, email me the file(s) and I will see what I can do. This eng should be like any other to skin!John D. Peterson

Stephen.sd80mac here.I managed to make new tga files for your N&W sd45 with the alpha channel in them,so you can see the windows.I took your original tga layer and "copy" & "pasted" it as a new layer onto another tga file...it works very well.Did you get another painting program?I was just wondering in case you have a problem with the windows,you can shoot it on over to me and i can do the same as i did with the sd45.
