Jan-17-02, 10:04 PM (EST) 2. "RE: New CNW F7 Skin now available." Thanks Mike!
The commuter coaches are a re-skin, by Kelley, of the Amtrak Superliner. I added a few tweeks, including the green window tinting.Ken Martello Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Jan-18-02, 02:31 PM (EST) 5. "RE: New CNW F7 Skin now available." LAST EDITED ON Jan-18-02 AT 02:36 PM (EST)I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that they're not currently available to "the public", yet. I think Kelley wanted to put some finishing touches on them, (like the lighting), then maybe, he will upload them.Remember, these are re-skins of the default Superliner car and suffer from all the limitations of that model.Ken Martello Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Jan-19-02, 04:51 AM (EST) 6. "RE: New CNW F7 Skin now available." Hi Ken, Those cars were given to me as well. I hate to say this, but it has been so long ago, I do not remember WHO gave them to me. I have to double check my files to see if I still have the name of the gentelman who did them, as I DO NOT want to take his credit for the original re-skin. I just wanted to get them painted better, as the original color was closer to zito yellow and to get the windows "green" like the real cars. The Cab car adition was my idea, done by Ken, and will be lighted by me. I hope this will clarify things a little better. Thanks to Ken for EXCELLENT work on re-skinning, and the F7!!!BTW Ken, You from Illinois? I think we have met!!
Kelley

However I do know of another Ken Martello from the Chicago area, but he is younger than me, I'll be 40 this year. My photo is in the other forum with everyone else’s, if that helps. I saw your photos but I didn't recognize you.Ken Martello Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

um, I think that it was me!!! (I am assuming that you are NICEONEACE) I know that I reskinned a superliner in CNW 400..... if I sent them to you with SQUARE wheels, then those are mine. I tried to upload them a few months ago, but it wouldn't let me.

Jan-19-02, 01:31 PM (EST) 7. "RE: New CNW F7 Skin now available." I see Dennis Owens has uploaded a fine looking CNW "400" coach. That'll give something else for the F7 to pull around. What great timing!!! Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
