Jan-01-02, 08:09 AM (EST) "BAR Boxcar and other repaints" I have just started a new project for some additional realistic
paint scheme boxcars....here are some photos of the BAR model
and I have 6 more liveries to go after the finishing touches
on this one. Here are the pics so far....I thought the box looked a tad large
but it sits up just a few inches above my SD40B model so maybe
its playing tricks on my eyes.
Let me know if you all think it's funky looking.Message Areas - "BAR Boxcar and other repaints" – image 1Message Areas - "BAR Boxcar and other repaints" – image 2

Perhaps you could explain what the three sizes of box cars are in the Simulator. US2Freight6 is wider than the other two, and medium height. US2Freight7 is a square cross-section and a tad shorter. US2Freight8 is the tallest, and still shorter. What is the real world name or type for the shapes or sizes?
I think that 7 is perhaps a standard 50 ft box, and 8 may be a hi-cube box, but I am not certain.
Thanks. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
