"RE: new sw1500 repaint Penn Central" Looks Great Kuchinator! Are you planning on another one?I've almost got the NS sw1500 done,I may do another one?Did you have to lower the "number board",like I did to get it placed correctly? Dec-31-01, 02:52 PM (EST) 4. "RE: new sw1500 repaint Penn Central" im also working on a PC GP335. and no the number board didnt need to be lowered. i just centered the numbers in the box. on the many other skins ive done in the past, ive had simmilar problems with the numberboards.

Dec-31-01, 08:41 PM (EST) 5. "RE: new sw1500 repaint Penn Central" Misalignment my come from converting to the wrong format. Normally if an ACE file does not have any “see-trough areas” it is made from a BMP file. The resulting ace file is more clear and will have far less banding. If you remake that ACE file using a TGA file you will lose quality (if it was there) and the image may shift a little when read by the Sim. The SW1500 .ace files wereSW1500A.ace TGA
SW1500B.ace TGA
SW1500C.ace BMP
Wheels.ace BMPThe cab views were all TGA files. Mark Toland Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Jan-03-02, 01:06 AM (EST) 6. "RE: new sw1500 repaint Penn Central" You hit the nail right on the head!I saved the sw1500c as a tga file & not a bmp. Thanks for pointing that out. That might be why some of the panels are gray and not black on the NS version? Is there a way that I can save my sw1500c.tga as a sw1500c.bmp in PSP7? Jan-03-02, 02:12 AM (EST) 7. "RE: new sw1500 repaint Penn Central" is thats whats causin that panel below the road number on mine to appear slightly off? the colors are all the same exact rgb value on each skin file. but some appear sligtly discolored. i had the same problem on the GP35 but none other than these 2. its hardly noticeable anyways.
