Dec-11-01, 01:16 AM (EST) "sd 45 skin" ken , sorry i didnt reply .. i went on a holiday to the gold coast in queensland here are the photos of the sd .. as you can see the body lines come up rather thick or are missing. on the textures they are no more than 1 or 2 pixels thick and are clear to see maybe the original textures by dekosoft are bad and dont re wrap well.. or my graphics cards doesnt handle it .. but i doubt the latter.. this is really starting to piss me off pardon my french.. please help Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: sd 45 skin" i had simmilar problems with the aruan dd40. just the sheer size of it and the textures and resolution made it appear the same way. i dont know what ur resolution settings are but when i set it to 1024x768 and higer the problem went away, but under that and it looked like that skin ur working on, dont know if that will solve your problems and u may already have it at 1024x768 or higher, but i thought i would make a friendly suggestion.

Dec-11-01, 04:14 AM (EST) 3. "RE: sd 45 skin" I suggest using a medium or light gray for panel lines, it'll help to make the 1 pixel lines seem thinner. If you want layered Photoshop templates, too, send me your e-mail address and I will mail them to you. Note that I have yet another update coming for this (I hope to launch by Friday) with a 'Kodachrome' paint scheme and nose tweaks.cheers,

Dec-11-01, 06:48 AM (EST) 4. "RE: sd 45 skin" Chip, That'd be fantastic, the task would be so much easier with layered files .. its so tedious reskining from a bmp or tga file i hate it in fact hehe patience is lacking somewhat.

Note: on this side there is no strip painted below the handrails. The only reason there is a small amount of paint is because I painted outside the lines.

But on the other side they show up???

Here is the front, but notice the left side is chopped (got me!!) Too bad the red light was made so well (makes it hard to paint over) Also, I haven't a clue why the front strip (below the handrails) didn't get painted but on the back it is??

The back also has been cut and merged
I don't want to seem like am I complaining. I would just like some help to get it done right. ThanksNick
