You look like dis guy?
Yeah, Rory. He was the quintessential non-conformist from the seventies, performing in his blue jeans and lumberjack flannel shirt. He opened for such groups as Led Zepp, The Who and The Stones, but also had a career in his own right. He performed and recorded into the nineties, and gained the title 'The Pluck of the Irish'. He was the only rock/blues guitarist to come from Ireland long before U2.
Additionally is The Who's present video; Live from Royal Albert Hall, amazing what these guys can do with such excitement and vigor well into their fifties!Dadbill...

Feb-01-02, 09:07 AM (EST) 9. "RE: Survey. What Music Do Listen To While You Drive In TS " I am surprised no one mentioned "Train kept a rolling (all night long)" by Aerosmith, Crazy Train by Black Sabbath, Runaway Train (I forget who sang this song, Pearl Jam I think), and "Night Train" by Guns and Roses. I really vary what I listen to when running the game, but these songs seemed appropriate for the list They all have that railroading theme going. Now all we need is a radio for the cabs that lets us access our MP3 collections while driving like the one that was made for the panels of the aircraft in Flight Simulator. Anyone want to do that if it's possible to make Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Feb-01-02, 05:58 PM (EST) 13. "RE: Survey. What Music Do Listen To While You Drive In TS " While driving the trains? The Sounds of the TRAINS! LOUD, of course!
While lounging around and online with the train-sim forum: Frank Sinatra, jazz trios, Oscar Peterson, etc. Soothing music recharges your heart, soul, and well-being.
It works wonders here; it may not work for you.
I get 100 mpg; your mileage may vary.

Feb-02-02, 04:09 PM (EST) 21. "RE: Survey. What Music Do Listen To While You Drive In TS " LAST EDITED ON Feb-02-02 AT 04:29 PM (EST)Hi CPR_Malice_96th. The numbers next to my screenname ( which was supposed to be lowercase. stupid caps lock.lol ) should give you some insight to my age. Actually the numbers are my birthdate. May 1st 1984. I'm currently 17 but will be 18 in May. If you think the music I listen to is too old for me you should see what I drive. I love classic cars as well as classic rock. Actually I'm a classic car "buff" as we're known. My current garage consists of a '65 4 door Nova, '65 Ford Thunderbird, '69 Plymouth GTX, and soon a '72 chevelle. The two "dreamcars" I wanna get however are a '57 Chevy Belair ( my all time favorite ) and a '57 Ford Skyline retractable. It's a hardtop convertable. However a nice '40 Packard or a '32 Ford Duece coupe will do nicely. Also in MSTS I only drive steam. Occasionally early diesel but mostly steam. Of course you'd never know it though if you looked at the engine I'm building. Pics of it in the locomotive design forum under "Spy Photos". Next up after that one is a 0-4-0 steam switcher. Not the one in the library. This one has a tender. Similar to John Fowlis' 0-6-0. Well Gotta get back to riding down the HBS with the ESE doing frieght duties. ( I painted one in flat black for frieght duties. ) Craig Shortino *currently listening to Van Halen* Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
