Nov-18-01, 10:21 PM (EST) "NALW EMD 40 Sound Pack available for download" November 18, 2001 -CLW has agreed to host the EMD 40 Sound Pack from North American Locomotive Works. This sound pack adds authentic turbocharged EMD engine sounds to MSTS, and uses the "Common.Snd" aliasing standard established for third-party developers.A lot of new locomotives (including the upcoming GP30 set from CLW) will require this sound pack to function properly, so visit the CLW website to download your copy.Thanks to the North American Locomotive Works team (Buzz Benz, Graeme Cox, Matt Donnelly, and Chuck Schneider) for developing this MSTS product, and allowing CLW to help in its distribution.Cameron Lashley,

"RE: NALW EMD 40 Sound Pack available for download" I think the package is the repackage of the Sd-40 sound set that I had done and it only included 6 samples of the throttle setting, however in the original package I had slewed the sample rate to create the missing positions so that it sounded like 9 seperate settings. I haven't seen the repackage but if they rewrote the sms files I had provided its possible that that part of the code was omitted.
