I'm doing an activity that has to do with switcihing in Whitefish Yard. When I try to place a loose consist of 10 boxcars on a siding, the car icons do not show up on the track. It seems to not work on any consist I have. I would apreciate it if someone could help me on this horrible problem.

RE: Probs with Placing Loose Consists

Welcome to this forum! This is your first posted message as I see!Have you managed to create consists before or is this the first time doing that too? That´s good to know before going on: what are your experiences with MSTS?On this forum there are a lot of experienced and helpful persons. I have used that possibility myself and I do hope that you will find it fruitful to come back with questions and problems (at least those related to MSTS! )Haraldh F

RE: Probs with Placing Loose Consists

You may have a Windows Registry that has been corrupted -- at least as far as the entries for MSTS are concerned. The Activity Editor will do that under certain circumstances. If this is the problem, you don't need to re-install, but you will have to be comfortable editing the registry.Do a search for "registry" (title) or "bewdley" (author) in Activity Design forum to find a discussion (early November 2001).
