RE: anybody working on any marias pass activities?
Are you looking for activities from the orginal or MP30??I've actually found that I can't make too many interesting activities with the manual switches included in MP30 and I have had to change all of them on the mainlines such that AI trains can interact properly.. (even though the manual switches allow you to operate all switches while in activities, I still changed them anyways) Are you looking for just activities in BNSF default consists or using some different ones (or different railroads)??I'm also looking to play some more Marias activities.. MP30 is excetional! I just wish that it was more "activity"-friendly.. (without the manual switches, such that I could produce some good activities) cdntrains"must be trains in the blood" http://www.frograil.com/gifs/gifs.htm
RE: anybody working on any marias pass activities?
Yup. Just finished one for the Virtual BNSF. Uses default loco's and cars on the original Marias Route. Basically a semi-short run from Whitefish to Red Eagle Wye and back. Pick up consist along the way, but you have to "break" the consist into section to complete the Wye turn around. Lots of switching. Going through the "shakedown" now and tweaking messages and events items. Almost done.
RE: anybody working on any marias pass activities?
im would like any activities for marias pass. i stll have both versions, although i use 3.0 more often. and ive downloaded many fine engines and cars so it wouldnt matter to me what consists were used. thanks for the replies, and i will keep watching and waiting.
RE: anybody working on any marias pass activities?
Everyone, I've just posted 2 new Marias activities at the Southern Nevada Holding Corp. web site on the download page for the newly formed Western Montana Railroad. And more to come soon! Regards Denny http://hometown.aol.com/nectrackteam/main.html
RE: anybody working on any marias pass activities?
Looking forward to any marias activities (original or MP30) Hopefully we can get a little Marias activity exchange going here.. (I'm getting tired of my own activities and they are so predictable.. hehe.. well obviously they would be!!) cdntrains"must be trains in the blood" http://www.frograil.com/gifs/gifs.htm

>it seem its been awhile since we had any new ones posted. >anybody working on any? ive downloaded all that are in here >and they are all great!!!! a big thanks to all of the >talented people who have created them..you have turned this >game into a passion for me... I'm working on a long, hard, Marias3 activity that is rather unique in that the player is immersed in a story and a degree of role playing. It is set on the GN line circa 1957, so all consists are (to the greatest degree possible) period livery. It involves some unusual twists. Stay tuned...Yardlimit.
RE: anybody working on any marias pass activities?
Working on some too. One is an Intermodal from Whitefish to Shelby. In this one I strived to make the surroundings (AI train, dispatcher info) as realistic as I could including a (small) change of failures (trains, signals, switches, etc.). I used the 'Train Dispatcher 3' CTC simulator to create a realistic scenario and then transformed this to a MSTS activity. It's getting through the testing phase right now, you can expect it in one or two weeks I think. Another one I'm working on in this fashion is for the Fairmont MT-19 Speeder, also on MP 3.0.
