Hi,
I'm making my second activity for the OWVRR. It's going to be a mine run where you will bring empty's to the mine and return with loads. This act. will require a lot of switching. I have a question regarding reverse points though. Does the entire train have to pass over the reverse point before you can change direction? It looks that way when using the VCR tool but I don't know if it is that way in the sim. Does anyone know? MIKE

RE: Reverse point question

Hi Mike,
Usually just the first car/loco to reach the reverse point trips it so long as no part of the consist is touching a switch node when the reverse trip happens.
I've noticed that that first car/loco to touch the reverse point actually goes about half its length over the reverse point before tripping it.
Regards,
Denny
