Apr-26-02, 02:09 AM (EDT) "Changing AI trains that you meet?" I'm usually hanging out in the re-skinning forum, but i'm pretty firmiliar with making activities. I just have one quick question. Say I use a default path(Morning intermodal for marias.example)How do I change a consist for a train I meet along the way? Any feedback would be appreciated.Thanx

I find that it easier to do in Conbuilder. Click on file activities and then the consist you want to edit.Kevin Arceneaux Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Apr-27-02, 11:38 AM (EDT) 2. "RE: Changing AI trains that you meet?" One other thing to consider here is that you don't want to radically alter the consist of an existing AI train. In many cases you're depending on the speed of that AI train to successfully complete a meet. If its too fast or too slow from the way it was originally set up it could possibly result in cornfield meets or the dreaded red signal standoff. I've found that if you want to alter an AI consist, try to keep it fairly close to the original. Swap out 50' box cars with other 50' box cars, that sort of thing. Avoid switching from a short little local to a fully loaded coal train. ROCK
