Feb-23-02, 06:56 PM (EST) "Need help installing BN-1 and BN-2 skins" I am trying to install these skins from Ken Martello and I am apparently missing something in the process.
I am working off the instructions in the read me file that came with the download.
I am using the ATSF Pro Series Set that I purchased from 3D Trains.
In the instructions it says to install or copy your 3D Trains.com retail models to a new folder in your Trainset folder and then rename it F9_BN1. Does that mean I include both the 3D trains_F7_ATSF and the 3D trains_F Pack?
Where it says to remove any existing .ENG files from the F9_BN1 "directory" does that mean from the F9_BN1 folder I just created?
It also says to copy the .eng and .ace files from the ZIP file in to the new F9_bn1 folder. Am I to copy those or "extract" them to that folder?
It does not overwrite them for me, it simply adds them to the folder F7 ATSF and lists them with everything else already in there. It also adds a folder of its own called F9_BN1.
When I try to use them in the Sim I get error messages that usually says cannot read file Trains/Trainset/F9_BN1A and F9BN2A .s files etc and so on.
