Feb-26-02, 08:21 AM (EST) 2. "RE: New NEC Freight Lines Activity" Thanks Brian,
Did a house move, dabbled in a part-time job, (retired firefighter) and just plain went through a lazy streak!
But I came back to my senses!

Feb-26-02, 08:33 AM (EST) 3. "RE: New NEC Freight Lines Activity" Just finished testing the new activity the the NEC Freight Limes team put out (2 Way Street). Ran it on the NEC 2.0 version of the route and had no problems (except for some MPs noyt matching the work order) after I had to go to Activity Editor to resave some 'out-of-date' services.
Took a little over five hours and used the front coupler (I have not installed the new MS patch, so I don't know how this activity will work with it installed). Seemed as long as you did not uncouple the car attached directly to the engine, no major problems.Denny provided a lot of good hints along the route and with the exception of reading more into one action than was required, no major problems.Near the end I had problems corssing over from the southbound tracks to the norhbound side untill I realized I just needed to wait for an AI train to go by. When this activity is downloaded, be sure to try it. Now that I know how to get to the end, I will try it again to see if I can improve on my time. Also, if you want it to be more realistic, replace the default BNSF Dash9 with some CSX motive power.
