Jun-21-01, 09:04 AM (EST) "can't see consists that I have placed" Hi people,
Well I made an activity on on machine A (win2k) and then un-packaged it on machine B (win98se). The activity worked fine but when I open the act file in activity editor I cannot see the consists that should be there.I also did the opposite, made an activity on machine B (win98se) and opened it on machine A (win2k) and I cannot see the consists. However, when I make a new consist in a new activity on machine B (win98se) I cannot see what I placed. When I do it on machine A (win2k) I CAN see the consist on this machine BUT I cannot see them on machine B (win98se)does that make sense??Bill Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

I went into an activity I had made and clicked on TOOLS, Calc starting point (or whatever it is) and then clicked on play and I can't see my trains and opposing traffic go along the the route.I use3d to be able to see it! I looked for an option that would turn it on but could not find it!
Anyone know how to turn this back on?Thanks in advance

There's another thread somewhere on this site that discusses the problem, but I can't remember where it is. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Jun-25-01, 08:32 AM (EST) 4. "RE: can't see consists that I have placed" Well, I had to re-install the product which is OK. I'll just have to make activities from home. Even though I have more time to do it at work (isn't that odd?!)Also, be careful when you create and delete consists or move them around on your route. I made a big long nasty consist and I was not able to couple to it (because of my path). So I moved it around, eventually I got a "Cannot load "Yard_one_consist1.con" or something like that. I looked for it on the CD's but I was not able to find it. Guess what?? I had to reinstall! Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
